L. A. Davis-Almond is the author of The Jolly Art of Junking as well as Selling and Buying Nana’s Treasures, 7 Estate and Tag Sale Essentials. She is a contributing writer to design and antiquing publications and a former columnist, “Treasure Hunt,” for Florida Today. She sits on the board of two non-profit organizations.
Married to Larry Almond, is a third-generation antiques and “junque” dealer. He and his wife own Almost Antiques in Cocoa Village, Fl. Known as “The Best Little Junk Shop in Florida,” the store’s success is a tribute to his popularity as an honest and knowledgeable antiques dealer. He is a former board member of the Historic Cocoa Village Association.
