My name is LaTisha Howard I was born and raised in a small town called Louisa, VA. I Moved to Charlotte ,NC after my high school graduation to pursue a Fashion career , so I decided to enroll in Johnson & Wales University a well-known Culinary school but also business. There I majored in Fashion Marketing & retail management after 2 years of attendance I realized that school was not meeting my expectations of what I wanted to do or learn about the Fashion Industry. I took time to reflect on what I really loved which was fashion & art and that’s when I looked into the Art Institute of Charlotte. After my first visit hearing about the hands on work and the number of teacher with Fashion Backgrounds I knew that A.I would be the best fit for me! I’m now looking forward to graduation in the fall of this year. Therefore I have been networking and building my resume so after graduation I will be that much closer to my dream job which is a Visual Merchandiser.
