Lacey Meier

After several years in the public relations world, I felt ready for a career change and began to pursue my Masters in Library Science. I was previously the Library Media Assistant at an elementary school in the Park Hill School District as well as a librarian with Mid-Continent Public Library.

As the Media Assistant, I was able to learn a a lot from the two librarians that I worked with. Along with my classes, I am feeling confident about my new career choice and hope to be able to start applying for a Media Specialist job for the 17-18 school year.

I've been married to my sweet husband, Adam, for three years and in July we welcomed our first child, Cecelia. I'm spending the year watching her grow, reading a lot of books and finishing up my degree!
