Lacey Mings

I'm just a girl who's walking in my divine destiny, I'm another face in the crowd, who's decided to turn and go against the majority of everyone else, I'm just one of many chosen by the few to respond to the call and see every dream in my heart come true.

Currently I Stay busy with actively being a part of my church Belton Assembly of God with being a part of the Adult praise and Worship Team, and Youth Worship Team along side with interning and being involved at Teen Challenge. Previously I was on staff at New Life Assembly in Oak Grove, MO as a co-worship leader for 3 in half years. The summer of 2011, has been a busy with being invited to come to local churches around the KC metro area and be a part of various bands to come and be the special guest worship leader for youth retreats, worship conferences and special church services

There was a season in my life where God had really opened my eyes prepared my heart and set my heart burning for something new and creative and to let my worship I sang be a songs of breakthrough and freedom. A lot of times it’s easy to try to make things happen rather than to let the Lord take control over every area even the areas that we want to see the most happen. The whole idea of my music ministry has forced me into trusting the Lord for whatever his plans are he will carry them out as long as I stay obedient to the calling he has placed on my life.

Worship is what my heart is passionate about to be able to lead people into the very presence of God is humbling in itself. Worship is not only an act of singing songs, but a very lifestyle. I myself know that we as leaders cannot lead others to any place that we yet have not been. Worship signifies the most intimate place we can be with the Lord. When the Holy Spirit is actively involved in our lives filling enabling, and directing us that is the only way we can be effective for his kingdom. My desire is to see lives changed, renewed, and transformed by the Lord.

I am anticipating new things to come, recently I will be heading to Nashville for some studio time. I’m looking forward to finally get all my songs that I have written during my quiet times out and to reach people hoping that the seasons in my life that I wrote these songs in will somehow connect with people and touch them and minister to them, in whatever season of life they are in.
