Lacey Seidman

New York City

Lacey first became enamored with anatomy and the concept of balance as a gymnast in her early teens. Born with a rare neurological condition, she discovered yoga's health benefits first-hand while deepening her practice and — after three spinal surgeries — steadily works to continue rehabilitating her body.

Inspired to use her intuition and 15 years of practitioner experience to make yoga more accessible for others, Lacey teaches strong-but-nurturing classes and privates in the Hudson Valley and NYC. After 500 hours of RYT training under her belt and nearly a decade working in the ego-driven atmosphere of the entertainment industry, she considers the practice an essential element in keeping her grounded, healthy, and recharged. In a word: maintenance. Lacey's mindful and articulate instruction allows students to explore alignment, body awareness and breath-centered movement through their own unique lens, and she is currently studying anatomy and teaching strategies with Amy Matthews at The Breathing Project.
