My first artist interview took place at 'A Day In The Garden' at 14-years-old. Dishwalla had referred to God as a woman in their hit song "Counting Blue Cars," and as a student reporter for my local newspaper, I was compelled to ask them why.

I earned my way into the entertainment industry during college as music was transitioning into the digital space; iTunes, ringtones, metadata and YouTube were changing how we did business on a daily basis.

Early days at Atlantic Records were spent distributing and promoting music videos, organizing TV shoots, and wrangling countless artists at red carpet events; interfacing with some of the most intense executives and management teams in the industry was the norm. My music blog, The Labyrinth, was born, and with the encouragement of supportive friends, I wrote about artists and relentlessly covered NYC shows and festivals around the country.

Hopping the label fence to work at VH1, I soon spent years scouting and booking online and on-air talent. Managing the channel's digital music programming and appearing on MTV's Hottest MCs were both stepping stones to eventually help lead an editorial team and interview music's most popular acts— all while developing a keen understanding of MTV Network's content management systems as a web producer.

A practitioner of almost 15 years, I trained to become a yoga teacher in 2012. After three spine surgeries and nearly a decade working in the ego-driven atmosphere of the entertainment industry, yoga practice serves as an essential element in remaining grounded, healthy, and recharged, and I've been teaching classes and privates throughout the Hudson Valley and five boroughs ever since.

Before taking a career break to travel and reboot, I had the unique opportunity to oversee programming and content strategy for two celebrity-partnered YT channels: LIVES with Meredith Vieira and JAY Z's Life+Times, both via startup IconicTV.

Still teaching yoga and a writer at heart, I'm eager to see where the pen takes me next.
