La'Chelle Jackson

My name is La'Chelle Jackson from Akron; Ohio. I am currently
attending Clark Atlanta University, as an Honors program senior student. At
Clark Atlanta University I am a Candidate for Bachelor of Arts, International
Business Administration with a concentration in international marketing.
Self-Starter, team- Motivator, and determined these are the three words that
would describe me. Currently, I volunteer at Operation P.E.A.C.E and
at Raising Expectations, these volunteer programs allow me to tutor for under
age children. I am an honest and diligent individual with aspirations and goals
for my life which I plan to pursue and complete. The business of Fashion Design
and Merchandising is a field that will not only allow me to make money; it will
also allow me to travel the world. The actives that I have been involved in have developed me into the intelligent and responsible individual I am today.Every year I complete at least twenty-five hours or more of volunteer work. I am a peer mentor, which allows me to be able to further my skill of working with
children and other members of my community, helping to dissolve common and
complex disputes. I presently, work at Best Bank as a sales associate. Working
as a sales associate it allows me to interact with customers and also provides
networking opportunities. With my Best Bank career, I feel as if it is preparing
me for my future career job as a sports marketer and a fashion stylist. There
have, been many things that I have learned about myself such as: being outgoing,
love to help, and also I am always up to trying anything new. Before attended
college I tried to prepare myself for my business major. One of the steps that
I took to prepare myself is going to a proper etiquette class. I learned from
this etiquette class, if you are at a business meeting meal it is never about
the food it's about the business. I plan on being a fashion stylist and opening
up numerous fashion boutiques, so I am sure that this will be a skill that I
need to remember.
