It is allowed to run with the ball in the post. Unlike the Maverik Lacrosse, players can kick the ball and can also cover it with their sticks, provided they do not retain too much of the game. The games are fast, resembling a combination of soccer, basketball and ice hockey. Violence is permitted with the body and with the stick, even if the regulation establishes certain ways to violently confront the opponent. The International Association of University Athletes has established that the parties must have duration of four times 15 minutes each. Instead, school-level, clashes have a shorter duration.
