Russell Kirk, that is. I have dreamed of ways to meet people who are interested in his writings. What if I bring a couple of his books to restaurants and wait to see who comments.
It would go something like this:
Stranger. "Do you enjoy his work?"
Me. "Immensely. He is, hands down, the greatest authority on conservtism."
Not so strange now. "Indubitably."
Dream come true.
