Lady Shawnell has opened her heart to women everywhere who are suffering with a silent cry of despair and low self worth to encourge them not just with a word, but, also a human touch of God's love any way she can. Lady Shawnell is a native of New Orleans, La., and has survived many of life hardships. She is currently promoting her first literary project The Silent Cry of a Minister's Wife ~surviving on broken pieces, an inspirational, life changing testimonial of how one can move from tragedy to triumph!! Lady Shawnell is an ordained minister and up and coming entrepreneur. She is the founder of LSR Ministries, SESC and The First Lady, a ministry dedicated to the encouragement and complete restoration of women. She is also the owner of Simply Elegant Enterprises which offers a plethora of services such as event planning, wedding coordination, contemporary women's apparel and accessories, and a small self publishing book company. Lady Shawnell is currently designing her own shoe line and preparing to launch her t-shirt line "NU-Spirations," that has various quotes of inspirational saying that Lady Shawnell is known for but with a "nu" twist. Lady Shawnell is also licensed IRS tax consultant and is currently pursuing her educational studies in Psychology and Criminal Justice through the University of Phoenix. Lady Shawnell hosts a monthly Sister Circle gathering in her home for women of all ages and backgrounds so that women can share their hearts in a safe environment and receive encouragement in areas where they silently crying. Lady Shawnell is also a very touchable, down to earth, humble, witty woman that enjoys a quiet evening at home eating crawfish and cheering on her home team The New Orleans Saints!! Lady Shawnell's favorite scripture is Psalms 91 and she often states "The way to the Kingdom is through the servants quarters."
