The unique combination of Sri Lanka and Bosnia are united in me. Born and raised in Germany, I grew up in a Muslim household and with Christian and Atheist friends.

I am the personification of globalization, of intercultural and interreligious relations. People call me a Gypsie, Nomad, Globetrotter, Jetsetter. And they call me the Lady MacGyver.

Master of Arts in Arabic and Bio Sciences. Ambitious child of migrants that doesn't believe in luck, but in hard work. If you do not fulfill your own wishes, nobody will. That's why, at age 26 I travelled to about 30 countries and lived in the UAE, Jordan, Mexico and the US.

More recently, I am getting more and more fond of my role as intercultural ambassador and involved in discussions about Islam and peaceful coexistence.

This is not your ordinary travel blog. While you will find articles about my travel destinations, you will also find elaborate articles on multicultural societies, people and their customs in other countries, general advise as well as articles on Islam based on my personal experience.

I chose English (sorry German!) as language for the blog because I aim to spread my message to as many people as possible.

This blog is to remove prejudices and the fear from the unknown. This blog is to challenge your way of thinking and reflecting on yourself. This blog is to promote togetherness and a universal understanding. Spread the message.
