Soufiane Lahmine is a highly accomplished Digital Learning and Educational Technology Leader with over 14 years of experience in designing and implementing transformative learning strategies for higher education, corporate training, and international development.
His expertise spans instructional design, digital transformation, e-learning ecosystems, and faculty development, working extensively with universities, NGOs, and global organizations such as KOICA, ERASMUS+, NAVANTI Group, FHI360, USAID, and Creative Associates.
In 2012, he graduated as valedictorian from Morocco’s first Multimedia Instructional Design “IPM” Master of Education (M.Ed.), where he pioneered the country’s first Community of Practice (CoP) hub for educational innovation through mLearning. His career began with ITQANE, an e-learning project enhancing teacher training, followed by his role in the KariaNet Network Program, where he introduced Web 2.0 tools to support agriculture and rural development.
Since 2013, he has been organizing the ICT Days in Education, an international event connecting educators and policymakers from the EMEA and beyond to foster digital innovation in education. His impact expanded with his leadership in USAID’s National Reading Program (Reading for Success), where he developed educational IT solutions to enhance literacy and digital pedagogy.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, his focus shifted toward HyFlex learning models and online teaching innovation, supporting institutions in adapting to blended and digital learning. As a key contributor to Erasmus+ KA2 capacity-building for higher education, he has been shaping digital education reform, evaluation frameworks, and instructional technology policies.
Recognized for his contributions, he was appointed in 2023 as Morocco’s Community of Innovative Educators Ambassador by the European Training Foundation (EU) and certified as a Future Skills Expert (2024).
Recently, he was honored as an African Digital Ambassador by Cluster Digital Africa, reinforcing his leadership in EdTech across the continent.
He remains actively engaged in prestigious global networks, including the AMICAL Consortium, Online Learning Consortium (OLC), Arab Teaching and Learning Consortium, Global Liberal Arts Alliance (GLAA), AFRETEC Network, and NECHE-accredited institutions…
