Lainya Magana

Lainya Magaña is the Principal Founder and CEO of A&O PR, a bi-coastal agency, and the West Coast's first, specializing in art marketing and public relations. Lainya is a visionary leader in art business and an art world insider, possessing over six years' experience as a Gallery Director, curator, published art writer, marketing and public relations professional. As the Principal of A&O PR, Lainya is the driving force behind creative and strategic marketing and PR campaigns that unite digital, search and social tactics with traditional best practices, achieving maximum exposure and a 21st Century edge for her clients.

As a public speaker, Lainya has lectured on the topics of art business and the integration of digital and traditional marketing and PR for the arts at the Conference of Creative Entrepreneurs and New York Foundation for the Arts. Lainya is a regular contributor to Hi Fructose Magazine and Argot & Ochre. Hher art features and criticism have also appeared in Juxtapoz Magazine and Buzzine. She recently served as a member of the Marketing and Communications Committee for Counter Pulse, San Francisco, and is currently the Marketing Advisor for IndieWalls, a New York-based startup. Lainya received her BA in Communications from San Francisco State University.
