Laís Fortes Manganotti

I am an Electrical Engineer at LFM Engenharia de Obras Ltda. and one of the future heirs of this great construction company focused on the Water Supply and Sanitation sector in Brazil. My father, Ivaldo Manganotti, co-founded this company 24 years ago and since then LFM provides infrastructure for wastewater treatment and water supply across all Brazilian territory.

Despite the efforts of our company and other large companies of this sector to provide infrastructure for basics needs to the Brazilian population, the situation of the Water Supply and Sanitation sector is still greatly precarious. Over 34 million Brazilians currently do not have access to clean water, 105 million people are not connect to the sewage system, and over 60% of sewage generated in Brazil is still unaddressed.

Our company is currently preparing for a significant increase in public-private investments as a result of a recent Sanitation Law. In order to make the most of this opportunity, I am looking to develop my management skills and turn LFM into a leading corporation by upgrading infrastructure in the whole Brazilian territory, helping millions of people along the way.
