Lauren Jones

I will be graduating in May 2015 from the Loyola University New Orleans College of Business with a degree in Marketing. After graduation, I am hopeful to work in marketing and promotions. My interests include marketing & advertising, social media marketing, management sales, brand development, and public relations.

In addition to my academic studies, I have been fortunate to gain practical marketing experience through employment opportunities and internship participation. During this past summer, I worked as a Loyola Conference Assistant promoting the many events and services available to conference guests offered by the University. I am currently interning with a Louisiana based marketing and branding agency assisting in the development of strategies for companies from universities, to hospitals, to restaurants and casinos. Additionally, for the past two seasons, I have been an NFL Cheerleader for the New Orleans Saints where I have enjoyed promoting the organization through game, event, community, and media appearances. Through this experience, I have learned much about the NFL and discovered that I have a real passion for sports entertainment and related marketing.

I am very thoughtful, creative, enthusiastic, detail-oriented, a quick learner, a team player and a problem solver. I am eager to further develop my skills and I look forward to the ability to continue to learn from industry experts.
