Poughkeepsie native LaJune Grant has spent the past ten years pursuing her passion of music. With ambitions of becoming a rapper, singer and songwriter, LaJune learned early on that she would need to relocate to the center of the music industry in order to fully pursue her dreams. After 7 straight wins on BET's "Freestyle Friday Competition," she moved to NYC and honed her skills as a rapper, singer, and songwriter. Since that first big break, LaJune has opened up for R&B sensations Case and Joe at the Lehman Center Concert Hall and Grammy award-winning Crissette Michelle for a hurricane Sandy fundraising event “Give Back and Get Down.”

LaJune’s musical performances can be seen on VH1’s Emmy award-winning morning show “Big Morning Buzz Live” and her vocal talent is also featured in a pilot for a new show that is being created for VH1.

The video for her single “Fibrillate” has over 20,000 views on YouTube. It was selected for MTVU’s Freshman Competition and went into rotation in December of 2013. Her EP “Body” is an eclectic mix of genres available now on iTunes, Amazon and other outlets online!
