My life has been sort of a hodge podge of different ideas and desires. One characteristic about me is that I am always thinking and planning for the future. I have an extensive background in medical laboratory science which began during an enlistment in the US Navy. Since my service in the Navy, I have held several professional roles and have continued my education to attain a Master's degree and currently pursuing a PhD in Human Services with a concentration in Pblic Health. Recently I have excelled in teaching in the community college and universities online. My goal is to continue teaching, working in the medical laboratory and traveling the world. Traveling the world is when I am present in the "here and now"; embracing life, nature, people and the different cultures. I am passionate about traveling and helping people in the US and abroad.
