L. Tiffany LeSure

I am a poet first, inspirational writer, and motionval speaker

Tiffany was born 1984 in Columbia, SC. Growing up in a troubled home, she began writing poetry as a way to express herself. By the age of twelve, she began performing dramatic pieces, and performing works of revolutionary poets, as well as her own work which took influence from notables such as Maya Angelou.

During her Senior Year at Irmo High School in Columbia, SC, she won First Place in Poetic Interpretation and received Honors from the International Thespian Society. She continued her path and later received a Jamil Temple Drama Scholarship.

Studying at Morris College, Tiffany majored in Public Relations and minored in Business. Furthering her dream of performing, she began speaking to audiences as a spoken word artist as well as acting in plays through the Morris College Drama Society and Sumter Opera House.

In 2009, Tiffany relocated to Atlanta, GA. She is currently continuing her education at University of Maryland Majoring in philosophy.

Tiffany is a poet first. However her passion is to mentor the youth in our society. Her stage name is Lady Balistic and she aspires to reach people’s minds and hearts with her poetry….to inspire the uninspired and to heal people through her words.
