I’m a marketer at heart. I’ve always been drawn to the challenge of bringing out the best in something (or someone!) and shaping it into a message that truly resonates. Marketing gets you noticed; branding helps you show up as your most authentic self. I help professionals do both.

For years, I worked in agencies helping businesses tell their stories online. And while it was rewarding to see those efforts impact the bottom line, I eventually realized that the work that lit me up most wasn’t about metrics, it was about people. I found real fulfillment in helping clients reach personal goals. And what’s more personal (or powerful) than building a career that reflects who you are?

Zig Ziglar said, “You can have everything in life you want, if you’ll just help enough other people get what they want.” That stuck with me. Especially when more than one client joked, “Can you make me look as good online as you made our company look?” That was the spark.

At the same time, I saw friends struggling to find their personal brand. These are smart, capable people who just didn’t know how to represent themselves in a job search. The common themes kept popping up: how hard it is to write about yourself, how awkward it feels to fill out a profile, how different it is to network online versus in person. And most of all: how hard it is to show up as your full self in writing.

That’s where I come in. Today, I help professionals craft documents and an online presence that gets them noticed— for all the right reasons.

Outside of work, I’m all about live music, outdoor get-togethers, and baking for the people I love. (Ask around: my banana oatmeal muffins have a bit of a reputation.)
