This is most decidedly not Sparta. I am definitely no Master Chief and I’m hoping to not end up like Pheidippides (though my better half would no doubt tell you it’s likely to happen).

I am a twenty-something year old goober who has decided that even though I haven’t performed anything that could remotely be described as “epic,” I’m going to try to whip myself into shape enough to be able to run a marathon. On the way, I hope to raise some money to support the awesome Child’s Play Charity and help some kids in need.
