Lalit Suri

Lalit Suri was a prominent Indian hotelier, entrepreneur, and Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) who transformed India’s luxury hospitality landscape. He served as the Chairman and Managing Director of The Lalit Suri Hospitality Group (also known as Bharat Hotels), building The LaLiT brand into one of India’s leading luxury hotel chains.

Beyond business, Suri represented Jammu & Kashmir in the Rajya Sabha, advocating tourism-led growth and infrastructure development. He passed away on 10 October 2006 in London, leaving behind a powerful hospitality legacy carried forward by his family.
