LaMar Van Dusen is an active member of the Toronto business community and has extensive experience in business marketing, corporate and managerial finance, financial analysis, sourcing, staffing, sales and consulting there. He currently serves as Director of Phoenix Management, a full-service financial and accounting firm based in Ontario, Canada which he founded in 2010.
LaMar Van Dusen studied business administration and marketing at St. Clair College and graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Windsor University. He is a member of several Canadian professional organizations, including the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business and the Indo Canada Chamber of Commerce.
Prior to launching Phoenix Management, LaMar Van Dusen served as the Vice President of Sales for Advanced Presentation Products. Over his more than two year tenure at the company, LaMar built a sales team that expanded from producing $6 million to $10 million in sales.
Since 2010, LaMar Van Dusen has served as Director at Phoenix Management. He began the firm from his home office, where he initially built business plans for independent business owners and helped them secure critical capital they needed to start and grow their businesses. In the process, LaMar developed a distinctive service offering for business owners that connected principled accounting with attentive financial consulting.
In addition to offering full service bookkeeping and accounting as well as a range of service offerings that includes the creation of business plans, LaMar’s firm provides finance consulting, business management, government grants and strategy advisory services. The company has helped a number of Ontario companies raise funds for working capital, and helped those businesses purchase commercial properties and franchises since it was first founded.
