A real team player I always do everything to the best of my ability no matter what the job. I enjoy helping and engaging with people especially solving people’s problems. I have always worked well in teams and enjoy engaging with people who have different skills and qualities too mine to help create something new. Teamwork is something which I really enjoy doing, it allows me to use skills such as diplomacy and persuasion to meet deadlines and insure the best quality work is produced.
As well as being able to work in a team I am capable of working as an individual often taking the initiative in situations to solve problems quickly. I am able to meet deadlines and produce work of the highest standard. This is shown in my dissertation, as part of this I conducted my own research. This involved contacting individuals who would be useful to my research and organising a time in which I could interview them. This used all my skills as an individual to interview, compile and write this piece of work.
Outside of academic life I love to cook for friends and family. My speciality is chocolate cake!
I have always been involved in the community and often volunteer at mini rugby events selling teas and coffee to raise money for the scheme. I have a keen interest in politics and follow Northern Irish, British and American politics closely.
