I am a dedicated professional with diverse experience, specializing in research, Monitoring and evaluation, project management and statistical modeling. During my tenure as a statistician at Kisii University since 2014, I've honed my skills in data collection, data quality checks, and data synthesis, contributing significantly to project implementation and policy formulation.

My research interests revolve around statistical methodologies for health data , particularly in disease surveillance and prediction. I have experience mapping emerging diseases like dengue and chikungunya in Africa. I've also contributed to the development of Bayesian analysis frameworks for dynamic correlation-multivariate stochastic volatility models, particularly in stock exchange contexts.

Additionally, I have developed strong interest in population studies with bias to migration and forced displacement datasets. I am keen to understand how forced displacement affects educational outcomes of host and refugees .

I am Proficient in R, Python, SPSS and STATA, I focus on modeling analysis, epidemiological methods, causal inference, and longitudinal data analysis, with a recent emphasis on diseases like malaria and dengue in Africa. Beyond research, I've been involved in practical projects assessing hypertension prevalence among diabetic patients and possess training in monitoring and evaluation.

My ultimate goal is to contribute significantly to organizational objectives in dynamic environments while continually advancing my skill set. I'm dedicated to improving the well-being of the individuals I serve through my work.
