I'm currently a student at Ryerson University, studying Journalism. Hopefully I follow through with this and you'll see an impressive degree listed under my education.

I used to reside in the Middle East (freedom of speech exists there sometimes) and spent a good fraction of my life growing up there. My passion for writing and broadcasting was born after following the many conflicts that occured, and still occur, and realizing that some stories are not told. I want to share those stories.

I graduated from a high school in Brampton, ON in June and started at university in September.

My "journalistic experiences" include writing for the school newspaper, local newspapers, blogging and tweeting. Topics of interest range from social justice, travel, entertainment and culture.

If I'm not at school, I'm working. I work at an ice cream store but one day I'll be a journalist.

Think of it as transitioning from a chocolate scoop to the daily scoop.
