Writing is something I have done since I was a kid. I love the fictional and escapist world, so some people call me a dreamer. Therefore, poetry and fantasy writing have always been of interest to me.
I come from a musically-oriented family. My whole family plays instruments/sings. I have learned to play the violin, piano and accordion as well. However, I actually play by ear for piano and accordion rather than actually reading the notes, which definitely needs some work. I absolutely love singing and the arts. My sister and I used to perform when we were younger in school talent shows. I also write lyrics for fun.
On a free day you'd probably find me catching a good movie or tv show since I am a huge binge watcher of Netflix shows.
Other than that regular days consist of me programming in the computational and scientific world in order to hopefully eventually land a job as something particular in computing. It interests me since I have always been so fascinated by technology ever since I was a kid, whether it be playing online games or video games. My dream for now is to be a computer architect. I would love to intern at a great company. Currently I balance school and work. I work part time with AppleCare.
I absolutely love to host events, so I always tend to plan something creative and fun with my friends. My closest friends and I love to go ice skating and we have a tradition to go every year around the Holidays, so here I am pictured just enjoying some time at the rink.

The journey of business communication has been great thanks to Dr. Christopher. My classmates and I presented a community service learning project on helping provide education to Syrian refugees. We even achieved a hands-on experience within the Athens Pinewood Library where there is an opportunity for immigrant children to be educated by some volunteers.
Throughout the semester, I believe I became more confident in presenting to the classroom.
The final presentation was our international country report in which we were able to go ahead and share information about a country we learned about. I chose Dubai, and not only was I able to learn about business etiquette there, but I was also able to learn more about presentations.
Business communication has been a vital class for me. This summer I have the opportunity to intern at the Home Depot headquarters. I cannot wait to take all the knowledge that I had acquired.
