Olamide Egbayelo

As Digital Media and Communications team lead for PIN, I managed the online implementation of the Rockefeller Foundation-funded Digital Jobs Project in Nigeria. I have also trained over 100 non-profit organizations on the use of social media for advocacy and for social good at various events. I created and implemented communication and digital media plans for the organization's advocacy work (e.g Women's Rights Online campaign in partnership with Web Foundation) I also manage the daily growth and updates of the organization's digital media assets.
Between 2013-2014, as Project and social media manager at PIN, I managed the $400,000 TobaccoCtrl online campaign, a public health and policy change campaign project using Social Media to advance tobacco control and support the passage of a comprehensive Tobacco Control (TC) law. As project manager, I managed the activities of 7 organizations involved in the campaign, managed and social media accounts for accounts, I also organized and produced the flash mob for the campaign. The success of the online campaign contributed to the passage of the Tobacco Control Bill in Lagos in August 2014 and the passage of the National Tobacco Control Bill and assent by the Nigerian president in May 2015. I monitored trends online trends for the campaign and also managed social media assets for PIN

As communications Associate in 2013, I was on the team that planned the first ever Google Hangout by a Nigerian top artiste (M.I), I developed social media plans for client's album and single releases, developed concept and plan for client's interactive weekly online chat in 2013 (chat still holds till date), managed online communications for top brands (Cakes By Tosan, M.I, Waje, Bez, DJ Caise and Davido). I also developed concept and plan for M.I's online giveaway for the 'Chairman' music single in 2013.

I currently hold a BSc in Computer Science and a Diploma in Social Media marketing
