I'm a pretty introverted guy. I prefer being at home playing games or watching shows the most. I almost always hate it when someone calls me unprovoked.
During the entire duration of my life. I've always had the luxury of being around the same people and having the same friends for so many years. It led me to being too comfortable.
When senior year of high school rolled around, I still didn't sweat it. I thought… well…. we'll all probably still be within close distance and hang out still. It didn't matter where we went. If anything, maybe this would be a good change of pace. I wouldn't have to see the same faces every day! (Sorry guys, your faces got repetitive at some point). But at some point, we all got our acceptances to colleges and decided on a different path far, far away. It felt weird, I guess. I wouldn't see my friends at lunch every day or talk about how hard that last math test was. But none of that was relevant because we were finally graduating from the miserable existence of high school. WOO!!!
Knowing all of us were going to separate colleges, we decided to make this summer adventurous. Something about my friends is that they're extremely spontaneous. They'll do ANYTHING on a whim. So numerous times a week, they'd drag me out of my bed by the feet and into the car to go somewhere. My cousin was the biggest culprit of this…
When I was dragged out, I'd always complain… Are we going out for sushi again…? Ugh… not karaoke… my throat hurts! Are you guys seriously making me wear this for a photo? (This is related to the photo of me that is shown where my friends forced me to wear stupid accessories for a photo shoot.)
Now, in my college dorm, I think… well, it was more fun than I gave it credit for. Maybe I'll be able to hang out with them again soon. In the meantime, I think I'll try to get out of my dorm a little more. That way, when we finally meet up again, I'll have plenty of stories to tell them.
