Lana Trofholz

I am a mother of two boys. William is three, Benjamin is one. I am 32 years-old, living in Omaha, Nebraska. I have been married to my husband, Tyler for seven years. Shortly after Tyler and I were married, we moved to Scottsdale, Arizona. We absolutely loved it down there and soaked up as much of the new culture as could in the short three years we lived down there. We had our first son, William in Scottsdale. When he was about 10 months-old, Tyler had an opportunity to transfer with his job back to Nebraska. We jumped at the chance to be close to family and our life-long friends.

We have now been in Omaha for the last two and half years. Life if wonderful and gives us much to be thankful every single day.

I am an accountant, working three days a week for the time being. Another reason to be thankful. I am writing this blog because I feel stuck. I went to school and got my accounting degree. I love, LOVE what I do. However, I am now contemplating going back full-time. I know, I know, thousands of moms work full-time and still have plenty of time for their children. Every story is personal and unique. Now I need to figure out what exactly works for our family. What can be done to make everyone the happiest they can be.
