Hello! I am a dance and drama teacher with a biology degree. I have taught for 20 years at the high school I attended! Being part of the largest, and super vibrant, performing arts department in the board has been inspiring and rewarding. I actually quite enjoy teaching online but am really missing the process and product of showtime.

At the beginning of the pandemic I started a side hustle in fitness & nutrition. Recently, I completed a nutrition certification through Precision Nutrition and am excited to launch 1-1 online coaching with a focus on mindset and habit development.

Becoming a guidance counsellor has always been on my radar, but recently has become as solid goal due to my newfound passion for guiding (well, we are always guiding in the classroom right?) and entrepreneurship. I am feeling a strong pull towards a career change in education.

I am very interested in learning about teaching & guiding with a culturally-responsive lens as I work in a very diverse school and am the mother of a mixed daughter starting grade 9! Last year I joined the Wellness Committee and am looking forward to working with students in this capacity this year.
