Lana O'Hara

Teaching English to immigrants in the Midwestern United States might not sound so glamorous, but for this word nerd, it's a dream job.

Hello, I’m Lana. For the past four years I've taught ESL to adults from all over the globe, and have loved every moment! I hold a bachelor's degree in psychology and criminal justice, and am currently pursuing a master's degree in secondary English education.

I study languages for fun and can hold a conversation in both Mandarin Chinese and American Sign Language (but not simultaneously). I read everything I can get my hands on, sing along with India Arie and Erykah Badu in the car, and love to get my hiking boots dirty. Of a weekend, you will often find me under my Jeep.
