Projects I'm currently working on:

- A price-transparency business in the healthcare arena. We are currently piloting our service with family-practice patients in the greater Chicago, Il area. We feel that every patient should know well ahead of time exactly what any test, procedure, or appointment is going to cost. If there is wide variance in the potential price for any visit, either we are trying to do too much in a single visit (too many decision points at once), or the physician is not taking her/his share of the financial risk.

- An online discussion tool that allows individuals to engage others in conversations that are meaningful, void of extremism, backed by thoughtful reading and research, and unfettered by random "comments" that add nothing to the discussion. Such conversations are missing from web-based discourse generally, and would be of great benefit to the online community at large. Furthermore, we seek to foster thoughtful discussion as this type of content has inherent value to those who create it, a rarity on the internet today.
