Landon New

I am Landon New, a grade 9 student attending Balfour Collegiate. I am fond of a wide array of literary genres, and will read nearly anything. As a general rule, however, I prefer fiction over non-fiction, and fantasy takes it's place at the to of my list. Expanding on my bookish nature, I am also a writer, and am currently in the process of developing a solid plot line for what I hope becomes a series of best selling novels. Amongst other things I enjoy music, and am eager to listen to almost anything the industry churns out. Rap is perhaps the only musical genre that I do not like. In terms of sports and athletics, I have been involved in fencing, curling, as well swimming, and have enjoyed all three. When it comes to classes, my favourites would have to be ELA and Drama. In my spare time I enjoy hanging out with friends, going to the mall, and eating amongst other things. Helping out around the house consumes a fair portion of that time as well, in the event that I have nothing to do. Though a pet person by nature, many of my family and friends find my critter preference negotiable. On more than one occasion, my dad has negotiated the exotic pets he'd allow in the house.
