Lane Sunwall

I am a doctoral candidate of modern British history, specializing in missions and empire in Africa. My work explores the relationship between British culture and mission organizations, especially in how mission organizations continuously endeavored to relate their work in ways the broadest segment of society would find compelling. Overall, I hope to improve our understanding of this world and especially the important role of religion in mediating it.
