Laney Jones’s songwriting is as quirky and charming as her upbringing in rural Florida. Raised on an exotic animal farm surrounded by an alligator-infested lake, she artfully spins tall tales of life from down in the swamplands. She‘s shared stages with the likes of the Carolina Chocolate Drops, Della Mae, Keller Williams, and Alison Krauss at festivals like Gray Fox Bluegrass, Shakori Hills Grassroots, and even the prestigious Kennedy Center. Laney was recently selected as the winner of Belk department stores’ Southern Musician Showcase in the bluegrass genre and will be embarking on her second east coast tour in 2014 supporting acts Lady Antebellum, Brad Paisely, Rascal Flatts, and Keith Urban.
