THE LANGLEY BROTHERS

Two brothers who both have passion in the Arts. They are DMV natives born & raised and are inspired by the culture development in the Washington, DC area.
Biography
Malek Malik at the age of 6 years old took a love for the arts within drawing and arts & craft in grade school; the parents noticed that for their son's age he was really good within drawing especially in cartooning and they stumbled on THEARC which held the Corcoran ArtReach and the Levine School of Music. Malek was the youngest child to start at the Corcoran ArtReach in 2005 at the age of 6 years old but he really wasn't the youngest, Malek had his 2 year old little brother Donn-Pierre following his every footsteps.

Malek is now 13 years old and has teamed up with THEARC and Corcoran to bring you his solo art exhibit called "CANDY SEASON" starting June 2012 at the THEARC...his artwork consist of paintings, graphic design, and cartooning.

Donn-Pierre took an interest in what his big brother was doing in the Corcoran ArtReach classes and later joined the classes. Donn-Pierre also started the Levine School of Music at the age of 2 years old and at the tender age of 4 he begin taking Violin lessons and playing the Violin across the Washington, DC metropolitan area. In 2011 Donn-Pierre decided he wanted to learn and play the guitar where he is now taking private lessons and has advanced to playing the electric guitar. Donn-Pierre now at the age of 9 years old will be performing at his brother's art show "CANDY SEASON" June 2012.

The brothers are attendees of the Prince William County Public School in Virginia and both has remained Honor Roll students throughout the school year. The brothers love modern fine art such as music, visual arts, and the performing arts. The brothers has even collaborated with Kid Pan Alley and created a song with others young artist to make the song 'Does It Really Matter'. Not only do they have love for the arts but they both support each other and most importantly their love for each other strengthens them to reach for the stars!
