Lanise Digsby

Hey my name is Lanise Digsby and I am from Charlotte, North Carolina. I attend North Carolina Central University majoring in nursing and plan to become a neonatal nursing after graduating. My family motivates me to be the best I can be. Because I am the oldest of 4 siblings I feel as though I automatically have to work hard because they look up to be and I have to be a good role model for them to show them that with hard work comes success. My mother motivates me because I was the head of the household when my mother had to work long hours I took on the responsibility to make sure everything went fine in the house. Last but not least my grandmother motivates me. She pushed and worked me so hard when it came to academics and I am honestly glad that she did. When I am asked what motivates me or pushes me to be better the answer will always be my family. Without them i wouldn't be the person I a today.
