Where Success Blooms (WSB) is a premiere Massachusetts-based educational consulting company that helps busy parents of 8th-12th graders save time and money in not only finding a great college fit for their students but also in making high school meaningful for them.

We believe passionately in the transformative power of education and are dedicated to the goal of helping students across the US blossom holistically (not only as students but also as leaders) in order to make their educational dreams a reality. Where Success Blooms is founded and managed by Lanita Foley and consists of a comprehensive network of professionals/organizations that support the educational and personal growth of its students.Founder and CEO, Lanita Foley is a college admission expert and a public speaker. A former Assistant Director in the Office of Undergraduate Admission at Stanford University (her alma mater) and a former Associate Director of College Counseling at Phillips Academy in Andover, Massachusetts, Lanita works with a select group of students in the US and throughout the globe to identify the schools that will be a good fit for them both academically and socially, while also keeping them motivated and guiding them through the application process.

She also draws upon her experiences as a former Assistant Director in MBA Admission at the University of Southern California and as a Director of College Counseling at a small school in the SF Bay Area as she helps students prepare for their long-term careers. Over the last 15 years, Lanita has worked with thousands of students with a wide-range of abilities. In the past, she has appeared on regional and national professional panels. She uses her vast experience to optimize her one-to-one work with her current students.

Her families are proud of their students’ success, with 95% of students being accepted into one of their top choice schools in 2013.

Lanita, a native of California, lives in Massachusetts with her spouse and works in Cambridge.
