Liziwe is an Admitted Attorney of the High Court of South Africa; and a founder and director of LA Nompumza Attorneys, which operates in Johannesburg. She started her educational journey at the University of Johannesburg (“UJ”), where she obtained a BA in Law Degree in 2018 and an LLB Degree in 2020.

She started articles in Midrand in April 2021, where she gained experience in commercial litigation, civil litigation, banking law, debt collection, administrative law, legal compliance, wills and administration of deceased estates, family law, and labour law. She has adeptly appeared in the Magistrate Court. the CCMA and conducted internal disciplinary hearings. Liziwe’s solid legal background has allowed her to develop strong drafting, negotiation, and organisational skills. She is proficient in drafting pleadings and legal opinions. Her decision to start LA Nompumza Attorneys was based on her dedication to promoting access to quality and affordable legal services in South Africa.

Outside the office, Liziwe is a mentor and entrepreneur who runs a non-profit organisation, Nompumza Lighthouse Foundation, and a beauty business, Queendom Hair and Beauty. Some of Liziwe’s achievements include graduating from the U.S. Government’s Academy for Women Entrepreneurs (AWE) program for the 2021 cohort and being an alumnus of the International Women’s Forum YLC-IDEAL mentorship and entrepreneurship program for the 2023 cohort. In 2024, she was selected as one of the 50 Most Memorable Women in 2024 by The Feature Magazine.
