Lanwei Gong studied Media and Communication at the department of Arts and Social Sciences at UNSW. She is the founder of the International Chinese Film Festival, previously named ‘Sydney Chinese Film Festival’ in 2009. Gong is committed to promoting Chinese cinema with the aim of broadening Chinese culture in overseas market. She has successfully promoted and distributed more than 30 Chinese films in Australia and screened more than 100 latest Chinese films through the festival over 4 years.

毕业于新南威尔士大学传媒专业，2009创办国际华语电影节（原名悉尼中国电影节）至今，一直致力于中国电影的海外推广。对中国电影在澳洲的宣传及推广起到了积极的推动作用，曾被澳洲当地媒体称成为“把中国电影推广到澳洲的第一人”。在短短的4年时间里，在澳洲展映了超过100部优秀的电影作品。帮助30多部中国电影在澳洲成功发行。
