Laurence Rey L. Gumban from Kalilangan,Bukidnon was awarded "Outstanding Choreographer of the Year" by the CELEBRITY CHRONICLE on July 11,2009 at the MGM Bangquet Hall in the City of Glendale,California,USA. He joined an elite group of fellow achievers chosen by Celebrity Chronicle during the 11th Entertainment and Achievement Awards. Previous Celebrity Chronicle awardees include a who's who of names recognized in mainstream US society as well as in the Philippines.
This special award was made in recognition of his strong work ethics, leadership, artistry,talent, and excellence in choreography. Celebrity Chronicle congratulates the winners for the achievement and commend them for providing a worthy example for their kababayan in the Filipino American community.
