Laone Nelly Chombo

Laone Nelly Chombo, popularly known as Lanech, is a Botswanan science fiction and fantasy author, conservation storyteller, photographer, and filmmaker. He rose to prominence in late 2023 through his serialized fiction published on the Facebook page Tales of Lanech. Since then, Lanech has been featured in the Gaborone Book Festival Peculiar Tree children’s anthology, and both of his self-published books have gone on to peak on Amazon bestseller lists within their respective subgenres.
