La Profe Smith is an enthusiastic H.S. Spanish Teacher in the U.S.A. She was an exchange student to Costa Rica at the age of 16, has returned to visit several times, and maintains daily contact with her Tico family and friends.

She is a lifelong learner who is working to improve her own level of language mastery as she simultaneously strives to more effectively share her passion for the language with her students.
