Lara DiPaola

Writer, wanderer, wellness warrior, and decorated veteran with a passion for sharing the journey with others. My own path has taken me from my home office to the White House, onto the pages of respected publications, and around the world. Most importantly though, it has allowed me to be a part of the lives of many, through words and wellness.

Some the accomplishments, I'm most proud of include;

Writing pieces in the Washington Post and for USA Today, among other outlets.

Being invited to the White House in 2014, along with a group of the nation's top travel bloggers, to launch the State Department's Study Abroad program. This relationship carried on to work with the United Nations and others.

Helping to build and launch several successful businesses by tapping into my content development, design, and digital marketing skills. (I served as the Director of Market and Creative Development at CertifiKID for 6 years and returning in the last year to develop content for them as needed both after their win on the TV show Shark Tank and at the start of the COVID-19 crisis. The Annapolis Center for Restorative Medicine is one project I'm especially proud of. From building the website and the brand voice to managing the daily business of the practice as well as seeing patients as a clinically certified HeartMath practioner, this has been pure joy for me.

In the Fall of 2020, I joined the growing community of Podcasters launching The Midlife Shit Show with entrepreneur, trendsetter and friend, Karin Sheets. Spring of 2023 will bring yet another chapter with the opening of the next practice I'll be directing, DM Wellness & Aesthetics. I'll also be comin back to my first love, travel writing, with freelance projects across multiple publications including contributing to one of my favorite travel and lifestyle blogs, A Cork, Fork & Passport.
