Lara J. Iverson
Lara J. Iverson researches issues related to global public health, focusing on social and infectious disease epidemiology, and computational modeling. As a former anthropologist, she conducted fieldwork in India, France and Vietnam, as well as consulted for DEVI Sansthan in Lucknow, India and the Center for Global Development in Washington, DC. Most recently, she was the Principal Investigator of a project in Zambia that examines the role of social networks in individual’s health decisions in collaboration with the London School of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene and ZAMBART Project. Her research interests include social network analysis, dynamic modeling, spatial analysis, global public health, urban health issues, and international development.
