Lara Whateley is a professional actress, musician, and entrepenuer born and raised in the New York City area. She got her start in music by playing shows in the prolific New Jersey Pop Punk scene at the age of sixteen. She played and toured with various local bands until the age of twenty nine before leaving her last band Bad Case of Big Mouth (Eulogy Recordings) after playing at Bamboozle and Warped Tour in 2011. She has also produced and engineered many albums for local acts and released several bands under her independent label Regret Records.

Lara studied History and Music with a specialization in Classical Guitar at New Jersey City University. She has performed as an alto in both "Handel's Messiah" under the legendary conductor John Rutter and "Poulenc Gloria" conducted by Jonathan Winters at Carnegie Hall with Mid-America Productions.

Currently Lara studies the integrated acting method at Total Theatre Lab with Caroline Thomas in New York City and works as a background actor on various television shows such as Orange is the New Black (Netflix), The Mysteries of Laura (NBC), The Family (ABC), Girls (HBO), and many more to come. She also performs background for Narrow Bridge Films and will be featured in their new movies "Summer Cabin" and "Yellow Scare."
