Istanbul as a city which combines facettes of Asia and Europe. Born and raised as a German in Istanbul/Turkey and having lived there for a total of 29 years, I combine attributes which are typical European as well as Middle Eastern. This has always deeply influenced both my private life and my career.

After having lived in Turkey, in different cities in Germany and in Italy, I call Leipzig in Germany my home & home office and work for the international headquarter of an American company.

When I am not working or being on a business trip into very different regions of the world, I love to spend time with my family and with friends, to keep myself fit as much as possible, to read books about totally different topics and to travel to interesting places.

I do not like routines to kill my life, but am always trying to think out of the box and to learn new things, to get to know new people of different cultures and backgrounds.
