When I first started this blog I didn't find my niche immediately, because I'm into a lot of things. I like to restore things, I like crochet and embroidery, I like fashion and beauty, I like to talk about what's happening in my life but what I love is to cook a good meal. Cooking is something I am really good at, I do it with passion. A good and healthy meal is very important to me I enjoy every single aspect of it: planning it, cooking it and of course also eating it. If I asked people to tell me what to blog about, they would have told me immediately that I should do it about food, but I guess I had to find it out by myself and it took time. But I am here now and I hope you'll appreciate my work.

On me

My name is Sarah Mignani I live in Esch-sur-Alzette, Luxembourg. I was born in 1984, yes I'm an 80's kid and I love that! My parents met in Esch-sur-Alzette but my mother comes from Galicia, Spain an my father who is no longer with us, was born in Marche, Italy but also raised in Esch. I miss him a lot. I studied science of education and I work as an executive assistant. I speak 6 languages but english is not my mother tongue. In Esch I own a little house where I live with my soon to be husband Laurent and my two dogs, Kravitz and Loco.

On the name

I called my blog la rivière rose, because I love pink it's a happy colour and because life is like a river, it has twists and turns, ups and downs an all of a sudden it can stop, so hold on tight and enjoy the ride!
