Before my mentor of photography passed away, he gave me his camera and told me to keep doing what makes me happy.
I will always keep that promise.
I love seeing the world behind a lens, if its not through a camera lens it's through the microscope.
I have been painting since I could remember in my mother's art classes. I loved oil painting; the ability to change a brush stroke hours after and the texture of oil on canvas. I continued to paint throughout high school, even developed a portfolio for art collage. When I went to university, everything I studied inspired me to paint and my art style developed a very scientific theme.
I have a green thumb! Passed down from generation to generation, I have it. I love the green leaves poking out of the soil after waiting days. Caring for the plant until a vegetable is produced. I have worked on projects relating to sustainability, teaching the youth how to garden and uilt greenhouses out of recycled material for small spaces.
My career working in a laboratory fullfills my love of science. When I won a science fair in school making rockets, I knew I would always be researching, solving, analyizing, creating and discovering.
