I am the Finance Director at Allied Electronics, Inc. a wholesale distributor of electronic and industrial parts and industrial components. I am a CPA with public accounting experience right out of college with one of the Big 4 firms. As Finance Director I have responsibility for Allied's FP&A function. We provide business partnering, decision support, and critical performance insight to three critical functions - Sales, Supply Chain, and Product Management. We prepare annual budgets and quarterly reforecasts. My team and I endeavor to provide critical business insight to executives at Allied to help them make decisions that will grow sales, operating profit and market share. We do this by preparing monthly performance decks as well as ad-hoc analyses. In addition, we provide Allied executives with monthly updates on their department's cost structure ensuring that they are aware of their costs so that they can make appropriate management decisions.

I have lived in Texas for most of my life, where I completed my college education at the University of Texas at Arlington. I grew up in Oklahoma and attended the University of Oklahoma for three years.

My professional career began right out of college in public accounting with one of the Big Four accounting firms - Deloitte and Touche. I left Deloitte after three years to work for Crescent Real Estate Equities where I was Corporate Reporting Manager. I worked at Crescent for four years and began a career at BNSF Railway where I managed BNSF's initial Sarbanes-Oxley compliance effort, which was a success. I maintained compliance for one more year and took another position there managing the Company's monthly income close and forecasting processes. I also spent time on an ERP implementation team where we implemented SAP Financials, HR and Payroll. I was at BNSF for six years when I discovered Allied Electronics!
